Department Of Conservation Campsite Pass

The DOC Campsite Pass is an exclusive arrangement between the NZMCA and Department of Conservation.

The Pass allows NZMCA members and their occupants to camp in their motor caravans at participating DOC 'Standard camps' without paying the per person overnight fee. There are substantial savings for members when you consider DOC 'Standard camps' charge $5 - $16 per adult and $2.50 - $12 per child, per night.

DOC has over 200 vehicle accessible camping grounds for you to enjoy. Further information on these campsites can be found in the NZMCA members' Travel Directory or on DOC’s website.

NZMCA members may purchase a 12-month DOC Pass for $175 (inc GST), which is valid from 01 July 2012 - 30 June 2013. Members may also purchase a 'half year' DOC Pass from January, 2013 for $75 (inc GST), which is valid from 01 February 2013 - 30 June 2013.

The ‘half year’ DOC pass (valid 1 Feb to 30 June 2013) is now available for purchase.

Please ensure you read these 'Pass Conditions' before purchasing (note, the exclusion period for sites in Whangarei have been amended for this season).

Auckland Council's regional parks camping pass

If you are planning on camping in the Auckland region you might be interested in purchasing a certified self contained camping pass.

Currently, the pass costs $92.00 and is valid from 01 September to 31 August 2012. From 01 September 2012, the pass will cost $123.00, and valid 01 September to 31 August the following year.
