NZMCA Parks

The NZMCA operates a network of Overnight Parking sites across New Zealand exclusive to NZMCA members travelling in certified self contained motor caravans. All NZMCA Parks are FREE to stay in (although a donation to help maintain the site is appreciated) offering SAFE overnight parking. Some Parks provide basic amenities e.g. fresh water, a dump station, rubbish and recycling facilities, while others simply provide a safe place to park overnight!

Currently, the NZMCA owns or leases 16 properties across New Zealand: Currently members can choose to stay at any of the NZMCA parks nationwide in scenic locations including Murchison, Hanmer Springs and Franz Josef.

The Franz Josef site is the NZMCA’s most recent addition to the growing Network of Parks. This site includes a dump station, fresh water, and rubbish & recycling facilities. If you know of a site that the NZMCA may be interested in purchasing or leasing to establish a Park, please let us know! Take a look at our Property Acquisition Guideline first and send your suggestion in to us with an attached Property Information Form. Any property purchases are conditional to resource consent for our activity.

POP’s (Park Over Properties)

Members have access to a unique network of nearly 300 privately owned POP’s throughout the country.

Camping & Holiday Parks

We’ve also arranged discounts at many camps and holiday parks throughout New Zealand - that’s over 2000 parking sites!

Department of Conservation (DOC)

Take advantage of the opportunity to purchase a DOC annual pass and stay in standard DOC camps without having to pay for the per person overnight fee.
