Arrived in Tekapo and parked up in NZMCA camp. No snow forecasted but then it snowed.
How many years have you been motorhoming?
We sold our house in July last year, bought the bus and moved in permanently
Best part about motorhoming?
No timetables, targets etc. Just going where “the wind blows us” and staying for as long as we like.
Not so best part?
Extremely expensive camp grounds for camp sites – even without power. Shout out to Gore Town and Country Club - $8 per night for a powered site. $1 for a 10 minute shower and washing machine and dryer available for $4
Have only been in the South Island so far. Too many to choose from but loved Central Otago.
We'd love to get photos of your motorhoming adventures. Email them to firstname.lastname@example.org
