‘CampSaver’ is the NZMCA’s next step to creating more cost-effective parking solutions. By creating an achievable rate for campgrounds to offer, members can go to any participating campground across New Zealand and receive all the great benefits of staying in a campground, at an incredibly low nightly rate. What’s more, is that these great prices are offered during the off-season, so rather than letting the weather hinder your travel plans you can experience the best New Zealand has to offer and save while doing so.
With CampSaver, when you stay at any of our participating campgrounds, it’s only $20 a vehicle for two people, for a powered or non-powered site. But did you know that a portion of the campgrounds we’ve partnered with also offer one-person rates?
Check out the below participating campgrounds in the Travel Directory offering these great rates:

Island View Holiday Park (#2998) - $10 for powered and non-powered sites
Pouto Marine Hall Campground (#499) - $10 for powered and non-powered sites

At this point in time, not all our participating CampSaver campgrounds are able to offer one person rates.
Each campground is unique and offers something different everywhere you go, which means they also have different necessary costs to maintain and upkeep their campground. So although all those participating would love to extend the CampSaver benefits to one person travelling in a vehicle - they needed to do what was feasible for their campground, and many are already heavily lowering their rates just to be on board the program.
By supporting the program and showing all our participating campgrounds the best off-season they’ve ever had, the ability for more campgrounds to offer one person rates will increase.
