Festival One is back to celebrate its 10 year anniversary at the beautiful Karapiro landscape called, Hartford on the 26th -29th Jan 2024!
With community as the central icon on its metaphorical flag, Festival One comes across a little differently. Born in the dusty summer of 2015. A wave of sun-soaked people from around the tiny islands of New Zealand come together with intense expectation.
Like the rhythm of a pulsing heart, these three things beat in the core of who we are. Music, Art & Community. Three practices in which we explore and find meaning. Music, Art & Community. Three forms of expression tie us into what it means to be human.

Certified Self Contained Motorcaravan Parking
Have your own slice of the festival and park your self-contained vehicle over the festival weekend.
Please come as self-contained as possible. That’s with solar panels, batteries, torches, water (no generators please), etc. If you can be self-contained with solar panels there’s no need to purchase in the powered section. The size options are:
Powered section:
Large 5.5 x 16m
Standard Size 5.5 x 8m
Non Powered section:
Large 5.5 x 16m
Standard Size 5.5 x 8m
- If you have a small caravan that doesn’t take up much space you’re welcome to pitch a small tent within your allocated caravan site.
- Roof-top tent sites need to be booked as a caravan site. We aren’t permitted to allow people to camp inside their vehicles in the car park.
- Make sure you measure your space beforehand so you’re not disappointed.
