The Festival of Speed is renowned as one of the most popular classic events in New Zealand for both competitors and spectators.
Two days of New Zealand's best racing with an amazing selection of historic and classic vehicles battling it out on the world-class Highlands circuit.
It’s a weekend packed with some of the best modern classic racing you will see in New Zealand. Featuring Mainland Muscle, Formula Libre, HVRA,VCC, M Developments Sprint Series, Highlands Modern Classics & Highlands Nostalgic Classics.
Join us for some true-blue kiwi racing starring some of New Zealand’s most well-known racing legends!
Friday 21st April: Admittance to view practice and qualifying is free.
Saturday 22nd & Sunday 23rd April: Event tickets are required.
Your ticket includes access to the pits, museum and free parking – who could ask for more!
Certified Self Contained Motorcaravan Parking
We are excited to offer parking for Self-Contained Motorhomes for the Highlands Festival of Speed Event from Friday 21st to Sunday 23rd of April 2023.
We have limited Parking available for Self-contained Motorhomes. The camper must hold a Certified Self Containment certificate. There will be no power available.
Please note - NO TENTS and NO CAMPERS that are not Self-contained will be allowed entry to the site. Strictly No dogs aloud on site.
Weekend payment of $160 per Camper which includes one entry ticket to the event and your parking. Additional spectator tickets can be purchased for $60.

- YOU MUST PRE-BOOK A SPACE PRIOR TO THE EVENT.
- We have a first in first served bases as our trackside parking berm has been extended and we no longer offer outfield parking.
- You can arrive from 9am Thursday the 20th of April and MUST depart by Sunday 23rd of April no later than 6pm
- On arrival you will receive a welcome pack which will contain a welcome letter, your motorhome pass and entry ticket to the event.
DIRECTIONS: ENTER VIA CEMETERY RD THROUGH THE HIGHLANDS INNOVATION PARK ENTRANCE, FOLLOW THE ROAD TO THE GREEN MEDICAL CENTRE. There will be a staff member located at the pits to assist you with parking and give you your welcome pack.
