Hurunui Garden Festival is a must-see on your annual calendar.

Are you ready for a change of scenery? If so, mark Thursday, October 27th to Sunday October 30th in your diary now and plan to attend the annual Hurunui Garden Festival.

A garden festival that started only five years ago has put down roots and blossomed into something beautiful.

This year’s festival promises to be bigger and better than ever, with 25 properties including private gardens, historic homesteads, art and collections on the circuit, which reaches from Amberley to Gore Bay, and Waikari to Hanmer Springs. This year on offer is a variety of special and unique places to explore, including a private museum and car collection, artist studios and gorgeous historic homesteads.

The properties are arranged into geographically based clusters making it easy for you to plan your visit to multiple gardens. Each cluster has its own dedicated map, showing you the precise location of the property along with useful information such as the locations of public toilets, accommodation options, petrol and diesel stations and food outlets.

It costs adults $10 each to visit each garden payable on the day as you enter the garden. School-age children accompanied by an adult are free. Please have cash with you as the gardens cannot process electronic payments. Alternatively, you can purchase a 10-ticket admission pack. Early bird tickets are available from July to the end of August. Purchase 10 tickets and get 1 entry free (11 in total).

All information and ticket purchases can be done via the website - hurunuigardenfestival.com
