Katikati Avocado Food and Wine Festival is set to rock the Uretara Domain again on Saturday the 15th January 2022.

Live Entertainment

We are excited to announce SIR DAVE DOBBYN headlining 2022 Katikati Avocado Food and Wine Festival. Supporting acts are local group KOKOMO and Auckland duo group - 2FOLD.

Cooking Demonstrations

SHANE YARDLEY. He is one of Bay of Plenty's most experienced and widely travelled chefs, will be there on the day to show you "how it's done".

Join us at the festival for tips, tricks and live demonstrations on the day - using the best local ingredients.

Children's Attractions

Ever popular bouncy castles, puppets, free face painting and more will operate throughout the day keeping the young set entertained. Children's food preferences will be met, too, by local stalls with drinks and treats to match.

Ticketing

TICKETS GO ON SALE FRIDAY 6th AUGUST.

Early bird $45 (until 30th November unless sold out prior) / Admission $55 and are available online or from the Katikati information Centre, 36 Main Road, Katikati.

Certified Self Contained Motorcaravan Parking

Overnight parking will be available at the local Katikati Primary school again for 2022! Your furry friends are allowed on the grounds, but please clean up after them and make sure they are under control at all times.

Where is the parking? And when can I arrive/leave?

Katikati Primary School, 28 Beach Road, Katikati.

  • Please arrive after 4pm on Friday the 14th of January and you are welcome to stay until Sunday the 16th January until 11am.
  • The gates will be manned up until approximately 8.30pm Friday evening and then again from 8.30am Saturday morning.
  • Please carry the correct amount of cash, we may not have change available.
  • As the toilets will not be open, all vehicles must be self contained.  Dogs are allowed on the grounds however we do ask that all doggie doos' be picked up.

How much does it cost?

The cost per night will be $10. All proceeds will go to Katikati Primary School.

Do I need to book?

No need to book, but please have correct cash available to pay for the parking. Event tickets can be bought on the day at the gate.
