Celebrate rural NZ at the Kimbolton Sculpture Festival on Saturday, April 1st 2023. Be at Kimbolton Domain from 9am to see what’s been created in sheds around New Zealand in the last year.

 

An action-packed day;

  • Sculpture from off the farm, about and of the land on display and for sale.
  • Country food with a big variety of stalls and food trucks
  • Live music.
  • You get a say with the People’s Choice Rural Sculpture. Which one do you love?
  • Buy or commission a sculpture for your home, farm or business.
  • See a large number of artists from our region in an exhibition called ‘Spirit of the Manawatu’. There will be a wide range of mediums and works in progress happening on the day. The work will be for sale.
  • Shop and browse market stalls for goods that have been made, baked, grown or bred in northern Manawatu.
  • Take part in creative activities and challenges.
  • Take a ride – vintage cars and children’s trailer rides.
  • Watch demonstrations of heritage skills
  • Be there to see the winners of the New Zealand Rural Sculpture Awards presentations
  • Disabled parking available close to the action. 
  • Entry Fee: Adults. Online tickets $10, gate fee $15, schoolchildren 18 years and under free
  • Please note: There is a strict no dogs allowed policy at the Kimbolton Sculpture Festival

  • There are no cash out facilities this year. (Eftpos connectivity is excellent at the grounds)

When can I stay?

The paddock is available from Friday afternoon (31st March) through to Saturday afternoon (1st April - festival day).

Where is the parking space?

Right next to the festival grounds, you can't miss it (will be well signposted).

How much does it cost?

There is a $5 charge per vehicle for overnight parking. Eftpos machines or cash on the day 

Please note: Campervans/motorhomes arriving on Saturday will be directed to park in the public car park and If they are staying overnight they can move to the allocated camping area after the festival is over.
