We are looking forward to bringing you our South Island Show again on 20 & 21 May 2023!

NZMCA Motorhome, Caravan & Leisure Show in Christchurch specialises in providing a complete experience for all visitors. Industry leaders, plus a huge array of industry-related accessory providers will be present, offering a huge selection of everything imaginable to make your outdoor lifestyle complete, or simply offer expert advice.

No need to carry around those cumbersome purchases, or make an additional trip to the car or motorhome. Store your purchases safely, and free of charge, at our Shop & Drop area located at the show office, at the front entrance in the main foyer of the pavilion. We would be happy to store your coat and bag as well.

2023 Show Hours

  • Saturday 20 May: 9am-5pm
  • Sunday 21 May: 9am-4pm

Now arriving at your favourite show is even easier!! All online ticket purchasers enjoy Express Entry to the show, so no waiting in long lines to buy your ticket.

All Multi-Entry pre-purchased tickets will have to be exchanged for a wristband on entry. You can still use the Express Entry lane, but allow time to swap your ticket for a wristband.

  • General Entry Adult: $16Children (16 years and under): FREE if accompanied by an adult
  • Multi-Day Pass: $25 (Multi-Day Pass will give the person the freedom to enter and re-enter at their leisure, for the duration of the show)
  • Buffet Dinner at Addington: Enjoy a buffet dinner in your own private Park & Stay Visitors Lounge at Addington Raceway on Saturday the 20th May. Bookings are essential before the 17th of May (please note Addington requires a minimum of 50 visitors for the dinner to proceed).

Certified Self Contained Motorcaravan Parking

We are excited to announce we can now offer a much larger space for our Event Park & Stay moving forward. We will now occupy the ‘in field’ of Addington Raceway which has space for over 500 motorhomes and caravans…so come on, make a weekend of it… stay at the NZMCA Event Park and Stay for only $10 for the weekend.

Addington will also be offering a ‘Race Night Special’ (Friday19th May) so you can have dinner onsite and enjoy a night at the Races. There will also be a dinner special on Saturday night with a dedicated lounge where you can all get together.

Save money by purchasing a multi-entry pass to the Show for only $25.00 per person and enjoy some relaxation time after a busy day shopping with your fellow travelling mates.

Event Park & Stay for show attendees only, no booking required. Spots are available on a first come, first served basis.


  • The Event Park & Stay will be open for arrivals at 8am on Friday 19th May 2023. Infield parking is available until 12pm Friday 19th May. Due to track preparation for racing that evening, arrivals after 1pm park in alternative area and are welcome to stay there or move to the infield after the race meeting ends or anytime Saturday or Sunday.
  • There will be a dedicated pedestrian crossing throughout the race night to allow people to come to and from from their vehicles to the main Grandstand to enjoy dinner.
  • There will be unlimited vehicle access from the infield Saturday and Sunday.
  • Infield parking is on grass, alternative parking is on a sealed surface allowing for easy access and movement of mobility devices.
  • You must be off the grounds by 6.00pm on Sunday 21st May 2023.
  • Cost to stay on-site is $10 per vehicle for the weekend - to be paid to the parking wardens on entry to the parking area, cash only - it would be appreciated if you could please have the correct change. Wardens will sticker your vehicle to indicate payment has been made.
  • Motorhomes and Caravans must be Certified Self Contained - No current certificate, no entry permitted.
  • There is no fresh water or waste facility.
  • Pets are allowed, please let the parking team know on arrival and they will park you in the dedicated area marked with the blue cross on the parking map. Dogs must stay in that area at all times and must be on a lead at all times. Cats must remain indoors or on a lead also. Please clean up after your pets - note that no pets are allowed into the Show.
  • Due to limited space, Health & Safety aspects and emergency vehicle access, the use of awnings is discouraged. If use is essential, they MUST be retracted when leaving your vehicle. No ground penetration and pegs are permitted.

There is FREE parking in the public car park for those of you coming for the day.

PLEASE NOTE:  There is no overnight camping allowed in the public carparks and you will be asked to move by security.
