Sika Show
The Sika Show is Australasia’s largest Hunting and Outdoor Trade Show and annual hunting competition.
From 1993 the Sika Show has been held annually in Taupo, and now, to accommodate the large capacity it requires, is held at Mystery Creek Event Centre near Hamilton.
The 2023 event sees the Sika Show celebrating 30 years!
2022 saw over 165 exhibitors and just under 10,000 attendees. With the extremely positive feedback from both exhibitors and attendees this year’s show is shaping up to be bigger again.
A substantial door prize will be won by a random ticket holder to be drawn at the Sunday afternoon prizegiving.
A wide variety of food will be available for purchase onsite from the 20 food trucks and indoor café options.
Show times:
- Sat 28th 9am-5pm
- Sun 29th 9am-4pm

- Adult day pass $25
- Children (14 or under) $5
- 5 years or under free

Location of parking
- Onsite at Mystery Creek – 200 metres from the event site
- Access via Gate 2
- Access will be available from 4 pm Friday 27th October
- Please depart by 6 pm Sunday 29th October
Fees
- $10 per vehicle per night - Cash only - to be paid on arrival
- PLUS a minimum of 1 adult day pass to the event per vehicle – to be purchased online at to https://www.sikashow.co.nz/purchase-tickets/
- Please be ready to display evidence of this on arrival.
- Tickets will be on sale from August
Pets
- Must be on leads at all times and remain in the parking area.
- Pets will not be permitted into the event.
