WOMAD New Zealand is back in 2024 for three epic days of Music, Arts & Dance!

WOMAD, the iconic festival is putting out the red carpet to welcome motorhomers to the three-day festival, held at the stunning TSB Bowl of Brooklands and Brooklands Park, New Plymouth, Taranaki.

With a slightly new look, mark your calendars for 15-17 March 2024 when they return for another unforgettable three days at the stunning Bowl of Brooklands & Brooklands Park!

WOMAD NZ 2024 will feature eight stages lined up with different musical genres, inspiring speakers, author talks and workshops, as well as a poetry slam and cooking demos with various artists. With the camping area so close to the main action, motorhomers will be able to make sure they are at the right place at the right time when it comes to catching their favourite performers.

To make your festival camping experience a great one, and to keep everyone safe, please follow the following rules:

  • You must purchase a Festival + Camping Combo ticket in order to camp.
  • Campers must be 18+ years OR with a parent/caregiver in order to camp.
  • The campsite is open from 9am Friday to 10am Monday.
  • Sites are assigned in order of arrival. There are NO SAVING SPOTS.
  • Groups wishing to camp next to each other must arrive at the same time. You should plan on meeting up prior to driving into the camp entrance. Arrive together to camp together.
  • In order to accommodate all campers, you must camp where assigned. 
  • Noise curfew starts at 1.00am.
  • No vehicles may exit once they are inside the campsite.
  • All campers are expected to behave in a courteous manner to other campers.
  • No pets allowed.
  • No tents in the motorhome camp, all tents must go in the General, Family or Accessibility areas.
  • There is a specific entrance gate for the motorhome parking. Please ensure you check in at GATE B - Coronation Ave, Racecourse Outer Oval.
