In an age of troublingly frequent digital intrusions, it’s time to beef up security on the members-only parts of the website.
Spring is the time of new beginnings, and so along with spring we will be going live with new and improved password protection when you log in to the members only parts of the website.
You will be able to choose your own password, and once you have done this you will be able to log in with either your membership number and that password, or your email address and that password. Once you have chosen a password your MAC code will no longer work.
There will be prompts to help you through and choosing your own password will have a transitional period, so if you want to stay with using your MAC code for a while you can. We do recommend updating when you next log in though.
It’s important to know that choosing a password will flow through to the travel app, so if you choose a password on the website this will also become your password for the travel app too (for more information, send an email web@nzmca.org.nz).
