Dive into the ultimate seafood celebration at the 22nd Havelock Mussel & Seafood Festival — Saturday, 14 March 2026!
Celebrate 22 years of incredible seafood with a full day of fresh local flavours, live entertainment, celebrity chef demos, and family fun in the heart of the Marlborough Sounds.
This year’s Gascoigne Wicks Stage lineup features Kiwi legends Shapeshifter, plus crowd favourites Wellington Sea Shanty Society, Tom Knowles & The Full Noise Boys, and more to be announced.
Savour the very best of the sea with 40+ food stalls, Celebrity Chef Michael Van de Elzen and Ganesh Raj will be cooking up a storm, plus demonstrations from top local seafood producers in the New Zealand King Salmon Culinary Tent.
Keep the kids entertained at the Marlborough Lines Kids Zone, participate in dress-up competitions, and we can’t forget the iconic Mussel Opening Competitions — including a Guinness World Record attempt.
Learn about the local industry and its impact on the community in the Marine Farming Association Industry Tent.
Every ticket supports local causes — proceeds go directly back into community grants and help showcase Havelock as the NZ Greenshell™ Mussel Capital.
