The volunteer group meets one Wednesday a month. You can join the group for just one day or come more often.

Tasks
You'll get to work on a range of gardening activities.
What to bring
Tools are provided, but you may like to bring your own gardening gloves.
Lunch – you can also buy food from the café during the summer months.
Transport
Carpool from Dairy Flat or meet at Sandspit Wharf. The garden volunteers will leave from Sandspit Wharf at 8 am and return around 4 pm, or leave at 10.30 am and return around 5.10 pm.

Use the volunteer application form to register your interest. We'll confirm if we have place for you.
Confirm your availability by the Wednesday before your volunteer day by emailing rvis@doc.govt.nz.
