The Waikato Area is pleased to announce the return of TTR this year in Te Aroha.!

The area is offering a huge welcome to all NZMCA members from every Area and SIG. We are also welcoming a great lineup of entertainers to suit all tastes. This event has proved so popular in the past that tickets ‘sold out’ within weeks of advertising - So don't miss out!

When:  31 October - 3  November
Where: The Silver Fern Farms Event Centre / Boyd Park Te Aroha 

 
What a lineup we have for 2025!!

Friday 31st October:

  •  Coopers Run –A premier country band that has travelled the world and won many awards.

Saturday 1st November:

  • Highland Games - The ever popular Hamilton Pipe Band, and the piping in of the Haggis.
  • A Pipe Band spectacular—Pipe bands from across the central North Island battle it out to be the best. Also the ‘Lone Piper’ competition, many of these entrants have played at the Edinburgh Military Tattoo. Local residents will also be invited to this Pipe band spectacular.
  • Paul Madsen Super Star Show— A tribute to Neil Diamond, Eagle, Bee Gees, Queen, and other silver bullet stars. Theme night is the 60’s & 70’s Flower Power dress-up.

Sunday 2nd November:

  • Good News—Sunday morning the ‘Good News’ vanners hour.
  • Arts under the mountain—Mid-morning till early afternoon, Te Aroha is holding this at the Domain. A short walk from town centre with 80 stalls of arts, crafts, etc.
  • Lisa Lorrell—Afternoon entertainment with Lisa, who has had 25 years experience, travelled the world, played in many musicals, and does a variety of jazz, Pop, Classical , Theatre, and Country.
  • Helen Riley—Helen started her career at age 13. Now 45 years of entertaining at man venues, weddings, Birthdays, Balls, private functions, etc. She was touring the country as base guitarist and backup vocalist for Patsy Riggir until 2006

The Waikato Area will take bookings from 1 August!

Simply pay by direct debit, doing the following; (there are no door sales).

Cost: $85.00 Per Person

The Payee is the NZMCA Waikato AND the account Number is Westpac 03-1568-0002409-01. In the Reference fields please state:

  • You’re Name (Field 1)
  • You’re NZMCA Member Number (Field 2)
  • And TTR (Te Aroha Town Romp) (Field 3)

That is all you have to do, we do not send out receipts.

Before you arrive at the Event please make sure that your Grey and Black Tanks are empty and your potable water tanks are full

When you arrive at the Silver Fern Farms Event Centre (after parking) proceed to the registration area and the team there will identify you by your name and number as having paid. Then you will be given the weekend’s program.

  • Entry to the parking area will be available from 9am on Friday the 1st of November not before, NO EXCEPTIONS.
  • If you wish to park with friends, please come in together. DO NOT assemble on Stanley Avenue (this is a busy road with 2 schools on it) or in the Town. If you do, you will be moved on.
  • After parking at Silver Fern Farm Event Centre, proceed to the registration area. The team will identify you by your name and member number and verify that payment has been made. You will then be given the weekend’s program. 
  • Please bring cash as there is no EFTPOS on site
  • Dogs are welcome but MUST be on leads at all time
