The iTM Supercars is back in Taupo, New Zealand for 2025! Get ready as the sweeping mountains of the North Island welcome the return of Supercars to Taupo on 10th-12th of April 2026.
Supercars will race at Taupo International Motorsport Park for the second time this April, marking the third different NZ venue to host a championship round after Pukekohe Park Raceway and the Hamilton street circuit.
The 2026 ITM Taupo Super440 will bring the ultimate sporting rivalry to the racetrack. Australia and New Zealand’s top racing drivers will go head to head in an action-filled battle which will have the Kiwis eager for domination on home soil at Taupo International Motorsport Park. Don’t miss your chance to see adrenalin pumping motorsports live in New Zealand.
With stacked support categories providing lots of fast paced action on track for spectators, there is entertainment for fans of all kinds to get behind, on top of the main attraction.

Certified Self Contained Motorcaravan Parking
The Taupo Horse Racing Club are thrilled to offer Self Contained Motorhome/Caravan sites for the upcoming ITM Taupō Super440.
The Oval Campground is in the center of the Taupo Horse Racing Club [THRC] track immediately adjacent to Taupo Motorsport facility and is within walking distance (350m) to the event.
The campground is only for motorhomes and caravans – NO TENTS.
There are two different sized spots available starting from $295 + service fees. You can choose your individual site at check out.
One Motorhome or caravan allowed per site. Due to Health and Safety requirements, we are unable to accommodate more than one motorhome and/or caravan per site.
A maximum of 6 people are allowed on a single site. At checkout, please select how many people will staying at your site.
The THRC Oval Campground will open on Thursday 9th April and will close on Monday 13th April 2026
Check-in is ONLY available Thursday 12pm - 5pm and Friday 10am - 6pm. All campers must vacate the site by 10am on Monday 13th April

ON EVENT DAYS PLEASE:
- Enter the Venue at Gate 3
- Catch the shuttle at the Taupo Gliding Club to get to Gate 3
- Respect the Security guards
- Access the event venue at the following times:
- Friday 10th 8:45am – 6:00pm
- Saturday 11th Friday 8:30am – 6:00pm
- Sunday 12th Friday 8:00am – 6:00pm
YOU MAY NOT:
- Access the event venue before Friday 10th and after Sunday 12th – this is a active worksite, there are no unauthorised personnel allowed onsite. *
- Try to walk across the Oval Campground at the horse racing track
- Try to jump fencing to get into the venue
- Ride your bike inside the event venue
*Please be aware, there are strictly no unauthorised personnel allowed onsite prior to, and post, event days (11th-13th April). You will be stopped by staff and security at the gate and requested to leave if you attempt to come onsite prior and after those dates.
