Beach Clean-up: Beacon Point, Penrith Park

Location: Penrith Park, at the end of Beacon Point Road (look for the WAI flags)
We’re heading to a NEW location in Wānaka!
Join us for a rewarding clean-up event at Beacon Point, Penrith Park. We’ll be removing rubbish from the beach and nearby trails, a great way to get involved in citizen science as well as protecting Lake Wānaka. Rubbish collected will be sorted and recorded in the national Litter Intelligence database (by Sustainable Coastlines).
What to bring:
- Gloves
- Weather-appropriate clothing
- Sturdy footwear
- Friends, co‑workers, and whānau All welcome. Tamariki / children must be accompanied by an adult.
