Feel the adrenaline and experience the speed as New Zealand's top road racers go head-to-head on the legendary Whanganui city streets at Cemetery Circuit, round 3 of the Suzuki International Series.

When it comes to motorcycle street racing, Cemetery Circuit stands unrivalled in New Zealand. Since 1951, this Boxing Day tradition has been the ultimate spectacle, where racers push their limits just inches from spectators.

Cemetery Circuit is one of the last remaining street circuits, offering thrills that no traditional race track can match, thanks to the closeness of spectators and the demanding, tight course that guarantees intense competition. Racing classes include modern Formula 1 bikes, side cars right through to Super Moto and Classic Solos.

2026 marks a milestone year, as Cemetery Circuit celebrates its 75th Anniversary. Alongside the racing, this Boxing Day will feature a historic bike display and show, bringing together machines and moments from across the Circuit's 75-year history for fans to get up close with the racing that built Whanganui's motorcycling legacy.

Certified Self-Contained Motorhome/Caravan Parking

Overnight parking is available on Maria Place (Opposite the Whanganui Fire Station)

  • Cost is $15 per vehicle per night.

  • Arrive from 12 noon on the 24th of December

  • Depart by mid afternoon on the 27th of December
