Marlborough Lines Classic Fighters 2027

Classic Fighters is back at Omaka this Easter Weekend, 26–28 March 2027, and this year we’re Putting on the Ritz!

Step back into the glamour of aviation’s Golden Age as aircraft inspired by the 1920s and 1930s take their place alongside the warbirds, aerobatics and dramatic flying displays Classic Fighters is known for.

There will be plenty happening on the ground too, with classic cars, entertainment, food, pyrotechnics and all the atmosphere of a great Easter weekend at Omaka.

2027 will also mark the 90th anniversary of the Royal New Zealand Air Force, with the RNZAF joining Classic Fighters for a special celebration across the weekend. Expect a mix of modern Air Force aircraft and aviation heritage, both in the air and on the ground.

Whether you’re an aviation enthusiast or simply looking for a memorable weekend away in Marlborough, Classic Fighters is well worth parking up for.

What You’ll See

Classic Fighters brings together an extraordinary mix of aircraft from across aviation history, from early pioneering machines and Golden Age classics to Second World War fighters, military trainers and post-war aircraft.

Omaka-based favourites will be joined by aircraft and display teams from around New Zealand, with more announcements to come as the show approaches.

We’ll be revealing more of the 2027 line-up in the months ahead, so keep an eye on the Classic Fighters website to see what’s coming next.

Certified Self Contained Motorcaravan Parking

Bring Your Motorhome to Classic Fighters 2027

Travelling to Classic Fighters in your motorhome? A limited number of overnight parking spaces are available for visitors purchasing a 2 or 3-day Classic Fighters pass.

The designated overnight parking area is available to certified self-contained motorhomes and caravans only and costs $50 per vehicle for the weekend.

There is no power or water available, although portable toilets will be provided.

Overnight parking can be purchased as an add-on when booking an eligible 2 or 3-day Classic Fighters ticket. Simply select your multi-day pass and the overnight parking option will appear during the booking process.

Please keep your overnight parking e-ticket handy on arrival so it can be checked by Classic Fighters staff.

Pets are welcome in the overnight parking area but cannot be taken onto the airshow grounds.

Spaces are limited, so early booking is recommended.
