Get ready for racing like the good old days at the George Begg Festival coming March 2027!

Dust off your retro threads and transport yourself to a golden age in Kiwi motorsport! The George Begg Festival is a high-adrenaline party for guests of all ages! From live entertainment and music, a smorgasbord of food and beverage options, shopping and more, our retro motorsport event has plenty to keep everybody entertained.

From the 19th to the 21st of March, classic car racing will take centre stage at Teretonga Park, with action-packed racing and plenty of off-track entertainment, our retro motorsport event in Invercargill is bringing back the thrills of the good old days - only better.

On the Track, witness the practice and qualifying on the 19th followed by 2 days of racing. Classes include;

• Historic Touring Cars

• Class 1: Super Touring (FIA Class 2), and Group N

• Class 2: Group A, Australia Group C and Group 2

• Class 3 (Modern Touring Cars): NZV8 (TL, TLX, Super Tourer), Australian V8SC and Group A V8

• Vintage Racing Cars (VCC)

• Italian Job - BMC and BMW Mini Challenge Cars
