Make your way to Hororātā Domain to experience a taste of Scotland this November!
Join us as we celebrate 15 years of the Hororātā Highland Games, a unique Scottish festival with a Highland Heart and Kiwi Spirit in the heart of Waikirikiri Selwyn.
Enjoy a day of traditional Scottish culture, rural hospitality, and family-friendly entertainment. Hear the skirl of the pipes, watch Highland dancing, piping and drumming competitions, and see athletes compete in traditional heavy events, including the famous Hororātā Stones.
Beyond the competitions, visitors can explore the Scottish farmyard, sheep shearing demonstrations, medieval knights, live music, carnival rides, Scottish food, and more than 120 market stalls.
The Hororātā Highland Games is one of New Zealand's most distinctive cultural events and a wonderful way to experience rural Canterbury and the welcoming spirit of our community.
