NZMCA South Island Golf Open

Geraldine Golf is delighted to announce they are hosting another competition and you're invited! So, calling all Golf Lovers because the NZMCA South Island Golf Open is returning on 18 - 20 February 2026!

Travel to 3 beautiful golf courses in the Canterbury Region across 3 consecutive days at 11:30am (each day):

Wednesday 18 February - Temuka
Thursday 21 February - Pleasent Point 
Friday 20 February - Geraldine

Tournament Details

• 11:30 a.m. start each day.
• Handicaps will update daily.  Maximum handicaps: Men 36, Women 40.
• Competition is both individual (graded) and team stableford each day.
• Organise your own team of four OR teams can be made up on first day of the tournament.
• Accumulative individual and team prizes over the three days.
• Players will be transported to Temuka and Pleasant Point on Wednesday and Thursday.
• Hit and Giggle for those who do not wish to play in the FULL tournament but would like to play some holes for fun.

Entry Fees:

• Full Tournament Registration $220 - includes transport, meals and prizes
• Hit and Giggle $185 - includes transport and meals
• Meals only $25 per day - for those not entering the tournament
• Cart hire $20 shared cart per day.
• “Stay over” fee $ 10 a night applies (not part of entry fee)

Terms and Conditions

• Payment confirms your entry
• Full REFUND up to 7 days prior to tournament
• Requests for meals additional to those pre-booked must be notified 5 days prior
• An Invoice will be emailed as soon as possible
• A copy of your response will be emailed to your email advised at the top of the registration form, please check your junk folder if it's not visible.

The Geraldine Golf Club is offering overnight parking for Self Contained Motorhome & Caravans for the duration of the tournament. You will need to be a registered participant in the competition. There will also be showers available.

How much does the parking cost?
$10 per night stay fee (not part of registration) paid to Geraldine Golf Club.

Are pets allowed?
Yes, pets are allowed but not on the golf course. They must be on a leash and owners to pick up after them.
