Get ready! Southern Thunder is coming to Teretonga Park, Invercargill from 13 to 15 March 2026.

Southern Thunder will feature NZ Super Trucks, Mainland Muscle Cars, Formula First and plenty more exciting motor racing categories including our Noel McIntyre Drainage Club Saloons.
 
That line up promises action aplenty!
 
Presale tickets are available now from E Hayes & Sons, Dee Street, Invercargill and Harrisons Supplies, Mersey Street in Gore.
 
Campervans are welcome on site from the Friday of each race weekend but must have entry tickets t access the site (which can be obtained from those two outlets).

Certified Self Contained Motorcaravan Parking

Overnight parking is available on the event grounds for fully self-contained motorhomes. 

  • Motorhome parking is open for entry from 10 am on Friday 13 March. Please depart by 6 pm on Sunday 15 March 
  • Admission is via Domain Road, Sandy Point (the main gate which is the first gate you arrive at)
  • Parking is free with your event admission ticket
  • Bookings aren't required 
  • Due to the nature of the sport, pets are not permitted
  • Motor racing is not suitable for pets.
