Taranaki Country Music Festival

Back in 2018, George and Jocelyn Tuahine decided it was time Taranaki held a Country Music Festival. Over the years they have gracefully learned how to improve and in 2026 the festival will be back for it's 9th year at the Waitara War Memorial Hall.

The 2026 festival will be held February 20-22.

Friday
Open Mic: 1:30pm - 4:45pm
Showcase: 6:00pm - 10:00pm

Saturday
Open Mic: 9:00am - 11:45am
Invited Artists: 12:30pm - 5:30pm
Showcase: 7:00pm - 10:30pm

Sunday
Open Mic: 9:30am - 3:00pm

Tickets:

• 3 day pass (Fri-Sun): $55.00 BOOK HERE
• Saturday only pass: $35.00 BOOK HERE

Secure parking for self-contained motorhomes and caravans will be provided at Waitara Central School grounds opposite the venue.

• Parking is $20 for 4 nights
• Toilets are available 24/7
• Arrive from Thursday 2pm and depart Monday morning 
• Small pets are ok within the school grounds but aren't allowed in the hall.
• Your parking ticket will need to be purchased in addition to your festival ticket
