The Waikato Area is pleased to announce the return of TTR this year in Te Aroha!
The area is offering a huge welcome to all NZMCA members from every Area and SIG. We are also welcoming a great lineup of entertainers to suit all tastes. This event has proved so popular in the past that tickets ‘sold out’ within weeks of advertising - So don't miss out!

What a lineup we have for 2026!!
Friday 30th October:
- Coopers Run – back by popular demand, they are New Zealand’s premier County Music Band. Michael and Ashley have toured the world and shared the stage with some of Country’s biggest names, Kenny Rogers, Le Ann Rimes, and Lady A to name a few. They were the first Kiwis to appear on the Nashville Global Party list in Nashville. They boast an incredible line up of musicians, Shane Reha on bass guitar, John Dill on Drums, Nick Jones on Fiddle and Key boards. They have a set list that offers something for everyone.
Saturday 31st October:
- Highland Games—The ever popular Hamilton Pipe Band, and the piping in of the Haggis.
- A Pipe Band Contest—Featuring bands from all over the corral North Island, Individual Pipers competing, concluding with the mass Bands march past, this experience makes the hairs on the back of your neck stand out.
- Che Orton—A multi-award-winning ultimate Elvis Tribute artist, Che has taken out several major titles, this has earned him a place at Graceland, where he is official ranked among the top 5 Elvis tribute artists on the planet.
Sunday 1st November:
- Arts under the mountain—Mid-morning till early afternoon, Te Aroha is holding this at the Domain. A short walk from town centre with 200 stalls of arts, crafts, etc.
- The Nukes—New Zealand’s, original Ukulele Trio. A band of musical miscreants that have been faithfully broadcasting harmony and happiness across Australasia. Innovative, inspiring, and entertaining, the Nukes have knocked the socks off audiences from Canterbury to Canberra.
- Turkey the Bird—New Zealand’s folk trio “Turkey the Bird” will remind you of the famous Margarita cocktail infused with a hint of “Simon and Garfunkel” 2 ounces of “Mumford and Sons” a splash of banjo and served on a sunny day. Catchy folk songs with stunning melodies and effortless smooth lyrics, songs that tell uplifting stories about love and life.

Simply pay by direct debit, doing the following; (there are no door sales).
Cost: $85.00 Per Person
The Payee is the NZMCA Waikato AND the account Number is Westpac 03-1568-0002409-01. In the Reference fields please state:
- You’re Name (Field 1)
- You’re NZMCA Member Number (Field 2)
- And TTR (Te Aroha Town Romp) (Field 3)
That is all you have to do, we do not send out receipts.
Please Note: For cancellations made up to 14 days before the event a refund is available; after 14 days in advance of the event you may be

Before you arrive at the Event please make sure that your Grey and Black Tanks are empty and your potable water tanks are full
When you arrive at the Silver Fern Farms Event Centre (after parking) proceed to the registration area and the team there will identify you by your name and number as having paid. Then you will be given the weekend’s program.
- Entry to the parking area will be available from 9am on Friday the 30th October not before, NO EXCEPTIONS.
- If you wish to park with friends, please come in together. DO NOT assemble on Stanley Avenue (this is a busy road with 2 schools on it) or in the Town. If you do, you will be moved on.
- After parking at Silver Fern Farm Event Centre, proceed to the registration area. The team will identify you by your name and member number and verify that payment has been made. You will then be given the weekend’s program.
- Please bring cash as there is no EFTPOS on site.
- Dogs are welcome but MUST be on leads at all time
