2026 marks the 20th Twizel Salmon & Wine Festival and it is bigger & better than ever!
The festival will be held on stunning Lake Ruataniwha at the Meridian Rowing Centre, giving patrons a world-class view while they enjoy their day in the Twizel sun.
From delicious local salmon and tasty foods, boutique wines and craft beers, to lively bands with a bouncy castle & face painting for the kids. There’s something to entertain everyone at the Twizel Salmon & Wine Festival.

Certified Self Contained Motorcaravan Parking
The South Canterbury Area is having a park and camp area for Caravans and Motorhomes only on Max Smith Dr Twizel.
The parking area will be open from 12pm Thursday 26 Feb - Mon 2 Mar. 2026
Cost is $20 per person regardless of how long you stay.
All vehicles MUST be parked by Friday night, as we have no vehicles movements in or out of the parking area on Saturday.
Tickets for the Festival must be purchased separately from the official website, be quick before they sell out.
