The track zig-zags across the top of the cliff on the south side of Cape Wanbrow. From a platform you can see New Zealand fur seals/kekeno on the rocks below. Carry on further to a viewing hide to watch penguins as they cross the beach

Description

The track zig-zags across the top of the cliff on the south side of Cape Wanbrow. From a platform you can see New Zealand fur seals/kekeno on the rocks below. Carry on further to a viewing hide to watch penguins as they cross the beach (before 9 am and after 3 pm).

Getting there

The track starts at the end of Bushy Beach Road, at the southern end of Oamaru.
