Over the next 6 months, the NZMCA will work alongside government officials, the Plumbers, Gasfitters and Drainlayers Board (new regulator) and other industry stakeholders on technical guidelines and training resources to help vehicle owners and our volunteer’s transition over to the new system
In 6 to 12 months’ time, the NZMCA will apply to become a certification authority under the government’s new regime. We will then begin inspecting vehicles under the new self-containment regulations, alongside our own internal certification system for members with portable toilets.
