From Orari: Turn west onto SH1 toward Geraldine. Signposted. Located near corner of Orari Station Rd & Orari Back Rd. From Geraldine: Turn east just north of Waihi River Bridge toward Orari. Additional Information: Donation in honesty box appreciated. Parking on grass to left of entrance. Restriction: Dogs must be on leads and kept OFF the course at all time. 

From Culverden/SH7: Located in township; entrance to site is from Highfield St. Additional Information: Restaurant, outdoor garden. Proximity to shops, council dump station, 9 hole golf course.

From Stratford township: Travel north on SH3 from the clock tower. Turn right at 2nd cross street onto Pembroke Rd (just before 70kmph sign), proceed over railway line; destination is 2nd entrance on left. Additional Information: Sheltered hard parking area on left of driveway. River walks. Heated town swimming pool. Restrictions: MUST phone prior to arrival. NO dogs allowed. Max. vehicle length 9m; height 3.3m.

From Dargaville: Continue over Kaihu River Bridge onto River Rd. Turn right onto Liverpool St then left at next intersection onto Logan Rd. At roundabout, turn left onto Pouto Rd then turn right onto Mt Wesley Coast Rd. After 200m, turn into Harding Park; destination past Machinery Club; signposted to parking at Museum. Restrictions: Pay fee at Museum: summer; 9am to 5pm; winter; 9am to 4pm. Dogs must be on leads at all times. Limited fresh water. Public toilets in carpark; dump station behind toilets.
