Make your way to Hororātā Domain to experience a taste of Scotland this November!

The Hororātā community is excited to welcome you to the 13th Hororata Highland Games at the Hororata Domain, just 45 minutes inland from Christchurch, on Saturday, 9th November 2024

Immerse yourself in Scottish culture with a Kiwi twist. Listen to the bagpipes, watch Highland dancers, and enjoy authentic Scottish food.

You can cheer on athletes competing in traditional Scottish sports like the caber toss and the Hororata Stones. Don't just watch it, have a go as well! There are activities for everyone to participate in.

Surrounding the competitions, there are many other attractions, including a Scottish farmyard, sheep shearing, woodcraft, medieval knight demonstrations, a fairground with all your favourite carnival rides, and over 120 market stalls.

It's a Scottish Festival with a Kiwi Twist

Early bird tickets will go on sale in August 2024. There will be no gate sales. Visit their website for more details.
