Environment Canterbury and the Selwyn District Council have approved Fulton Hogan’s application to establish a 170 hectare aggregate quarry near the NZMCA Park at 286 Jones Road, Weedons. This approval comes with a raft of conditions.
The NZMCA acknowledges Fulton Hogan’s proposal has generated a lot of interest amongst the Canterbury region members and we want to assure you the Association is carefully reviewing the decision before determining what (if any) action is required. Those who made a personal submission on the proposal should have also received an email from Environment Canterbury confirming the decision, including what to do if you wish to appeal the decision.
