Journey to Palmy and soak up the incredible atmosphere at the NZ Rural Games – a vibrant celebration of the skills, strength, and spirit that form the backbone of our nation.

Best of all, entry to the Games is completely FREE!

Witness raw power at the Timbersports Championships and the thrilling Speed Tree Climbing competition. Feel the tension of the NZ Speed Shearing and Fencing Championships, and be charmed by the teamwork of the Sheep Dog Trials. It’s a unique opportunity to see the daily skills of rural New Zealand turned into high-stakes championships.

When you need a break, enjoy local produce at the Hitching Post Farmers Market, grab a bite from one of our delicious food trucks, or take home a unique treasure from our Chainsaw Art Sculpture exhibition.
